Great Icecream maker

I make ice cream, gelato and sorbets as a hobby. When my old machine finally gave up I decided to upgrade a bit. I wanted something that would make two quarts at a time. This machine does that and will make up to 6 quarts in an hour!!! I think it is probably over kill for what I do, but I love it.
Clean up is a bit ackward, but my other machine with the removeable bowl was actually more difficult as it had a rubber gasket that did not fit right around the rim and ice cream mix would get into the cracks where the gasket did not fit correctly. It is a great machine.

this ice cream maker is so fabulous! i am not much of a cook and i'm not very good in the kitchen, but the sorbets i have made with this machine are better than any i've had anywhere! it is so easy- if i can do it, ANYONE can! i would highly recommend this product. the recipes that come with the machine are perfect. cleanup is so easy. it is incredibly fast and easy to make sorbets. i have not attempted making ice cream yet, but i'm sure it would be great.

Outstanding! I bought the larger one since we typically have at least 5 people in the household eating ice cream. What a product! In 10 days, made ice cream or sorbet 3 times--Rich Vanilla Custard first, Maple Walnut second, and Lemon Sorbet third. All recipes from the manual are great...went out and bought a couple more ice cream cookbooks for limitless ideas. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Easy to clean and easy to use...what could be better! I've been making ice cream during our heat wave where kitchen runs 86 to 88 degrees...took 40 minutes for 2 qt. recipe (probably my fault since I only let custard cool for 4 1/2 hours), took 20 minutes for maple walnut (with real maple syrup--yum!), and the lemon sorbet. Right now, have ripe mangoes cooling in the fridge for Mango Sorbet tonight and a fresh pineapple waiting to be cut for Pineapple Sorbet tomorrow. When this product wears out in the future, I will replace it immediately with another Musso.
