Place Setting (4-pc.): Scarlet by Fiesta

I really like this tablewear. For the price, I don't think I could have done much better. It is oven safe and seems to be quite chip resistant. It also has a very nice weight to it and a certain elegance (especially in the white.)
My only complaint is that I am not crazy about the shallowness of the bowls, I prefer more of a rice bowl shape.

I love fiestaware! I love the colors, sturdiness (really hard to break!) and also dishwasher and microwave safe. . Some complain about the small ring in the coffee mug, but I find it comfortable to hold. The bowl is generous size and oatmeal cooks evenly in the microwave. Both size plates are a good size that are easy to work with. I like to mix n' match my colors along with the tableware to suit my mood and entertain guests. The persimmon is a nice pinky/peachy/orange. I also own the dinnerware in Cinnabar, tangerine, scarlet, sunflower and shamrock. I will be collecting as many colors as I can.

Good value. Stands up to the dishwasher, oven and microwave without any problems.

Made like iron and pleasing to the eye. Plus, they microwave well. The imitation Fiesta typically has lead glaze which heats the dinnerware, not the food. Ouch!

I purchased 8 different 4 pc settings of the Fiesta ware and I love it - it is so fun to set the table. Now need to find some completer pieces in some of the colors to finish off. Thank you.

I love my Fiesta dishes - I use the 3 primary colors (blue, red & yellow) in my kitchen to add lots of color. On certain holidays I use only the appropriate color - 4th of July - red & blue, etc.

I am a recent fan of Fiestaware... just discovered it... and have already placed several orders. I mixed turquoise with persimmon, heather, tangerine and scarlet. The mugs are sooo comfortable to drink coffee from... and don't get hot in the microwave. When I'm having a snack, I make a conscious decision which color I feel like eating off of... hahahah It's the little things that can make us happy!! I have always wanted Fiestaware dinnerware and finally purchased it from Cooking.com. I was very please with the quality of the dinnerware. It is beautiful! It is extremely durable and comes out of the dishwasher looking like new. I cannot wait to get more!!

Like the blue, I'm very happy with the color, but again would prefer not to have to buy the whole set as the side plates are too small and I don't really need the cups. However, I'm getting a lot of use out of the dinner plates and bowls, so would recommend this product anyway.
