Must have blind baking tool!
by Connie, TX

Inexpensive and sanitary pie weights are a must have when preparing pre-baked pie shells and tarts. These pie weights provide sufficient weight to create perfectly formed pie and tart shells. Impervious to heat, washable and reusable ceramic weights are easier to remove than pie chains, are odorless while baking and cool quickly. A great addition to every pastry maker's toolbox..

Instructions for use
by Donna, NY

I was not too happy when I read the instructions and found that when using these you have to remove the paper and weights from the crust when it is half done, and replace the crust in the oven to complete cooking. It creates a logistical problem on how to remove them without having them roll out of control all over the kitchen. I wish I could find the string of stainless beads Betty Crocker used to sell to put in the crust.

Good Product
by Elizabeth, KS

Good concept needs to be taken another step further. Disadvantage- loose weights are hard to control when transferring from use to use. Hard to store easily.

I needed these pie weights for "blind" baking of crusts. They worked very well.
