Paula Deen's My First Cookbook (Spiral) by Deen, Paula

This book is really cute. I bought 2 books but should have bought 3 since I have 3 grand daughters but I was not thinking and planned to give it to my dughter-in-law and granddaughters and my daughter and granddaughter. I will be buying another one and each granddaughter (ages 8, 5 & 2) will receive one for Christmas. I know they will have so much fun with their parents -- they both have a very close family and Ms. Paula is an inspiration to all. Just think of the tradition she may have started. Thank you Ms. Paula.

This is a great book for the young beginning cook. My mom taught me how to cook in little notes, ex, when to start the potatoes, the meat, the veggies, etc. This was for a family of eight and I was 13, if I had had this book, it would have been my cooking tool. I had everything ready for her when she got home from work, so we could all enjoy dinner and that is the same feeling I got from your book. Thanks for it. I ordered it because I thought it was the very first one you ever wrote with your friends way back when, but i really was not too disappointed. Thanks, Anne Casto

I have many cookbooks and enjoy reading cookbooks. This book was written so well and with the purpose of entertaining children and teaching them the basics of cooking. And, it also encourages interaction with the child and parent in each recipe. I love this cookbook and will buy it again when my other Granddaughter is old enough to enjoy it. Thanks for writing such a wonderful cookbook for children.

Bought this cookbook for my 10 YO Granddaughter. And she loves it. She enjoys watching Paula and was inspired by her to learn to cook.

I love Paula Deen and how real she is - I love butter, too! These recipes are simple enough for kids and I love to use them when I cook FOR the kids - so easy to do, very little to clean-up, and tastes great! Thanks a million!
