I have not had time to read this book yet, but from looking through it, it appears to meet my needs. As usual, great service.
I bought this book and another Paula Deen book for my mom for X-mas and she was thrilled, I don't think she even cared about the other presents she got. I do believe she read each book from cover to cover and was in the kitchen that night adding to x-mas dinner.
As a visual person, I prefer cookbooks with pictures of the recipes. I dearly love Paula, but had I known this book had no photos, I wouldn't have purchased it.
Item purchased on behalf of another individual and they were pleased with item. It is a cookbook in standard book form so the recipe page being used must be weighted down to keep the book from closing when following a recipe.
I absolutely love Paula's shows and recipes, so when I saw the cookbook at that great price I jumped on it. I really like "Hurry up Chicken pot pie" . I have tweaked the recipe a little by omitting the hard boiled eggs and substituting thawed Southern Hash Browns. It's my daughter's favorite recipe for pot pie. Can't wait to try more!

When you're making pie dough the key is to work quickly and keep the butter as cold as possible. This will ensure your dough retains pockets of fat as it bakes, which in turn creates the buttery, flaky crust we all love. That's why it's best to make a pie on a cold day, or in a well air-conditioned room.
