Bought this for my 82 year old grandmother. She finds it easy to use and likes it but has trouble reading the numbers on the knob.

My previous pasta machine was heavy and difficult to use. This product is much easier for me.

This piece of equipment, while very well engineered and strong is somewhat over-priced. Of course the brand strength of Kitchen-aid probably supports the price.

Love the roller and the fettucine cutter but the spaghetti cutter kind of gummed up. I realize that I should have let the pasta dry a little longer and should have rolled it to a thinner size first. But I never use that one anyway; which makes it a more expensive product for me. However I love the speed, ease, and convenience compared to the hand crank models. I really enjoy it and make pasta more often.

Purchased as a gift. The receiver's only difficulty was deciding whether to make fettucine or tortellini. He was totally thrilled and the pasta was great!
I think these types of things are fun, but I think they are way overpriced. The consumer pays for the product name (Kitchenaid in this case) and no necessarily for the value of the product.

This machine attachment is easy to put onto the Kitchen Aid. It works like the hand cranked machines without the cranking, which makes the process of kneading, rolling and cutting the pasta dough a whole lot easier, though not a lot faster. I think it's a great machine.

This is an excellent product for those interested in rolling pasta dough. It works flawlessly. My only complaint is the only cutters available are spaghetti and Fettucini. The system is superior to the Atlas Motor machines, although the latter has a larger variety of cutters available.

A little high priced, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Although the products are built well and function well, in the back of my mind the price should be lower than what it is. Since you are a captured customer for these products it is just one of those gut feelings where the price does not match the product.

I love my new pasta roller! I can make an entire recipe of pasta with no help, as apposed to the hand crank pasta roller.....you generally need another pereson to help.
The pasta rollers and cutters fit easily into the Kitchen aide mixer and clean up easily with the included brush.

This is a beautifully fabricated piece of kitcen machinery. The polished stainless finish makes cleanup almost unnecessary with one exception. If the pasta strip pushes to either end of the rollers, dough can easily get stuck in the space between roller and side wall, and be very difficult to remove. Patience with a toothpick and brush has removed it so far. Not having to turn a handle while manipulating the dough makes the process a pleasure and not a chore.

This is the best attachment! I frequently make home made noodles, cookie dough and pasta. It makes life so much easier. I would recommend this to everyone!

While I love my pasta roller, I do feel it is highly over priced. In addition, I would like to be able to purchase the roller separate from the pasta cutters.

Works just as it should. It is at least 5 times faster than our hand operated model and the height allows for longer pieces. It is well worth the investment as fresh pasta is so much better than dried.

I think it would be better priced at the $79.00 range. Will have to make a lot of pasta to recover the cost. Other than than excellent accessory.

Only the plain roller is used by me from the Pasta Roller Set. When using the others the pasta sticks one piece, to another.

I bought this for my husband, the pasta-maker in our family, to make it faster to whip up fresh pasta for our family. He LOVES it! It makes it easier for him to manipulate the dough (which was previously mixed up quickly in his KitchenAid stand mixer). It always took a lot of extra time to get our cramped workspace cleared and the hand-cranked pasta roller set up. Now all he has to do it put on the attachment and homemade pasta is ready within 30 minutes on any night of the week. We should have gotten this when we got the stand mixer. It is used often! It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny to have fresh pasta in very little time!

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Stand mixers can definitely be tough to manuever sometimes, so for easy cleanup and transportation, keep your mixer on a tray or cookie sheet. This will make it easier to move around your countertop, and if you make any mess, you can just wash the tray.
