Pasta Press Attachment by KitchenAid

I would like to review this, but they never sent it to me, so it is more of a review on the websites service that is so poor rather than the product itself. I ordered the item over a month ago and no delivery for mothers day....no delivery, no notice for memorial day...maybe Christmas?

This attachment works well but is clearly designed for small batches. It is high priced for the value

The pasta press works okay so far. I've only had it a few weeks and only used it 3 times. Two of the three times I've tried to make the thinner noodles and it gets bound up. The rigatoni and macaroni work just fine, but the skinny noodles just won't extrude. It may be I need to practice with wetter dough. I'll try it next time. Works well for large noodles and cleans up easy.

We made the spiral pasta and were disappointed that it didn't come out as spirals. The feature that is great is that you don't have to flatten the pasta before cutting it. Overall a good buy.

I have used this product once to make fusilli. It takes some time for the pasta dough to work it's way through the machine.

There is nothing better than fresh pasta!
