If you want the best coffee maker, buy this. Brews the coffee perfectly so that every cup is great. What a difference between this coffee maker (and the coffee it makes) and the "average" coffee makers anyone is tempted to buy, thinking that they all brew the same.

We are very happy with this purchase. KA pro line delivers quality, also have burr grinder and espresso machine. The reason (I think) that there is not a "stop to pour a cup of coffee before it finishes" is that it changes the pot of coffee if you do that. A lot of the flavor comes at the very end of the cycle. In other words - BE PATIENT!

Kitchen Aid has outdone itself!

We have owned a lot of Kitchen Aid products and purchased this coffee maker when we found out Pro Line offered one. We love it! The warming plate is great, coffee can be brewed very strongly, and the carafe pours well. It even comes with two lids - one for decaf and one for regular. Even the instruction booklet is easy to read through and looks high-tech. :)

This looks great on the counter and solicits a lot of responses from people. It's as close to having professional coffee-shop coffee in your own home as you can get. It programs easily and has a cool display which lights up to show you how long the coffee has been sitting there.

It programs easily for automatic brewing and has a great stainless steel basket which accomodates paper or plastic filters. We recommend the gold-plated plastic Kitchen Aid filter, too. It works great, too! Don't worry about the price - it's well worth the money!
