Product Description:

This dual function espresso/drip coffee machine has oversized controls that switch easily from brewing espresso to frothing milk. It features a 15 bar pump driven system with a die-cast thermoblock-heating element. The filter basket is conveniently stored in the lid and has a perfect froth steam nozzle. Programmable for size and strength of espresso as well as wake up coffee. With a cup warming tray, removable water tank with optional water filtration, easy on/off button, visible water level indicator, and anti-drip system, this machine is a coffee lover's dream.

Because I love it. My previous Krups model was the caffepresso that lasted me through 7 moves, 5 jobs, 2 kids and 21 years. It finally died. This model is much improved, We really like the refillable tank for the expresso side and with the pump system, it makes a great cup. The only thing I do not like is that on the drip coffee side, the carafe drips when pouring much more than I'd like. Seems that a quality item like this from such a great company would have those little things all worked out after so many years. Overall, I rate this unit a
