Product Description:
New Indoor Grill and Griddle combo can prepare a whole meal with one appliance. The surface features 1/3 Griddle with Lid and 2/3 Grill designed for the ultimate flexibility and convenience. When inclement weather keeps you inside, you can still grill using this indoor barbecue grill from Sanyo. Fill the drip pan with water before you begin grilling and you can cook with virtually no smoke in your kitchen; the excess fats drip into the pan below, extinguishing any smoke and allowing for healthier cooking, too. The grilling surface is nonstick for easier cleanup. The temperature control is adjustable; turn it down low for cooking tender vegetables and delicate seafood or turn it up for grilling heartier fare like steaks, pork sausages and chicken breasts. The Sanyo indoor barbecue grill has a cool-touch base and handles; the drip pan is removable and is dishwasher-safe. The indoor grill comes with a bilingual instruction manual that also includes recipes.

I first tried this under the hood on top of my range because I couldn't believe that it was really smokeless. But it was. It cooks great. And I like the temp control which means I don't have to spend a lot of time making sure the grill is the right temp. Everything comes out perfect every time.

We like using ground sirloin for hamburgers because it is lower in fat than chuck, and also because of its steakier taste. However, if you prefer a more classic-tasting burger, use a blend of the two. A quick guide for how to tell your burger is done: insert a thermometer sideways into the center of the burger; when it reads 145 degrees F it's medium rare, 160 degrees F it's medium, and 170 degrees F it's well done.
