East/West Knife
Product Description:
Furi knives have long been recognized for their outstanding performance and terrific value. The Gusto Grip collection was developed in conjunction with popular chef Rachael Ray, who loved the professional qualities of Füri, but desired a convenient non-slip grip in her favorite color, orange. The result is a knife that appeals to home chefs and professionals alike. The Gusto Grip handles feature "Furi Guard", antimicrobial inhibitors incorporated directly and permanently into the Gusto Grip handles. This is done during the manufacturing process, giving the handle an added safeguard against microorganisms that can degrade the handle material over time. The East/West Knife measures 7-in. long and is the perfect knife for vegetables and meats alike. The high-carbon, stainless blade is highly durable and offers precision cutting and lasting edge retention. For best results, Füri knives should be sharpened regularly, hand washed and dried thoroughly before storing.

I have been really pleased with the knife. I like the sturdiness of it and the way it cuts.

This is the first expensive knife I have ever purchased. I was a bit skeptical about spending so much on one single knife, but after I received it and started using it, I found that it was definitely worth it. The rubber handle is very comfortable and the knife is very easy to control. I wish it would have come with a blade cover of some sort though. Overall, a great knife and I would purchase more of the same type.

I have been watching Rachael Ray for years now and always admired the knives and other utencils she uses. I finally bought this knife for myself for Christmas and I have never, ever used such a great knife! I also bought the Furi knife sharpener so it will never get a dull blade. Thanks Furi and thanks Rachael!

What our Kitchen Experts Say
Here's a trick to remember the next time you're cooking with something leafy like cilantro: to quickly separate the leaves from the stems, hold the stems in one hand and shave the leaves off with a super-sharp chef's knife.
