Easy coffee in the morning.

The Baratza makes having fresh ground coffee pleasurably easy. Calibration to my French press was quick and painless and the results thereafter are consistent. I'm getting all the flavor from the premium coffee I'm using with only a small extra step over pre-ground; somthing I appreciate in the morning when I want coffee, not rocket science.

What our Kitchen Experts Say
When shopping for coffee, look for a few key terms that'll ensure the best possible brew. "Fair trade" means the coffee farmer was paid a fair living wage for his beans. "Organic" means the coffee trees weren't treated with any pesticides. "Shade grown" means the beans didn't come from coffee trees that were genetically modified to grow in the sun. Coffee trees naturally thrive in shady forests, but a lot of coffee these days comes from trees that were modified to grow in the sun, meaning that indigenous forests have been clear-cut to make way for large-production coffee farms.
