Usability of Paring Knives

For their intended use, excellent value for the money. I have small hands and frequently have trouble finding paring knives that are comfortable for me to use and these fit the bill. My only complaint is that they have painted wooden handles. For some reason, I was thinking the handles were dyed plastic so not to fade or chip. Unfortunately the paint began flaking off on the second use. I imagine after several washings the color will cease to exist. That is my only complaint about these otherwise very handy knives.

I love these knives. Small, sharp and beautiful. Very practical and lots of them!

What our Kitchen Experts Say
Contrary to what you might think, a sharp knife is actually safer than a dull knife. The important thing to remember when chopping and cutting is to let the knife do the work for you. A sharp knife allows you to do that, but a dull knife requires you to exert more pressure to get the job done, which means your hand has a greater chance of slipping.
