Product Description:
In fewer than five years, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky-girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just in time have sold billions of books and placed her at the top of the talent heap of food television personalities.

Füri Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip Kitchen Shears is made from German CrMoV stainless steel. The blade is forged from a single piece of steel, and fitted with a strong tang for strength. Gusto-Grip handle design has a tailor-made finger groove with palm control grip. Creating an ergonomically safe anti-microbial handle helps cooks who are using knives for a prolonged period without causing fatigue. Füri knives combine design and functionality.

Doesn't "cut" it

If you're looking for all-purpose kitchen shears as used in the real world (not just used to cut chickens in half but for cutting paper, string, and wrap), then don't get these. While it is passable cutting the chicken, it can't cut anything else. The notch in the blade that grabs the bone to be cut eliminates the ability to cut anything cleanly or evenly. Yeah, you could cut with the front portion of the blade, but if I wanted to cut 1-2 inches at a time, I'd get my daughter's school scissors (which work better than these). Pass on it if you can.

The kitchen shears could be sharper. I like that they come apart to clean them.
