This is one of the best items I have ever purchased. The blade is extremely sharp and it cuts herbs as well as bulky items such as onions like a breeze. I absolutely love it. I also purchased one for a friend and she has commented time after time what a joy it is to work with. We did not purchase the optional board as we read articles stating a regular chopping board was just as good. It was

I'm getting better by the day using the Mezzaluna, it takes a little getting used to vs. using a knife. I chopped 2lbs. of mushrooms with it in no time, I liked the results. Sigrid Smith Las Vegas, NV

I have looked for this product for years in stores seeking quality. This is beautiful at chopping lots of goodies, and has a great weight to allow proper performance. I'd recommend this to anyone!!
