Product Description:

KitchenAid's Gourmet Essentials line brings you high quality cookware constructed from brushed stainless steel and aluminum. The brushed 18/10 stainless steel exterior graduates to a gleaming shine at the top while an aluminum disc base fully encapsulated by stainless steel provides even heating across the bottom of the pan. Ultra comfortable cool grip handles are comprised of an 18/10 stainless steel shaft encased in soft silicone rubber. The handles are dual riveted to the pan for added security and strength. Handwash with mild dish soap.

The skillet is almost too heavy for me to handle even when it's empty. Filled with food, there's no way! It didn't even have the additional handle as pictured on the web site. That would have helped a lot. I sent it back without even giving it a try.

Love this skillet. It's big enough for everything I need to do, yet I can fry only two eggs if I want. It's the only skillet I use.
