Cutting mangoes w/ a knife is ok, but this makes it much easier. Most importantly, you exclude the core nicely, and no problems with knives slipping on the ends of the fruit.

THANK GOODNESS FOR THIS KITCHEN TOOL. WITH MY ARTHRITIC HANDS I CAN NOW ENJOY THE FRUIT OF MY LABOR WITHOUT IT BEING PAINFUL. THIS PRODUCT GETS MORE THAN IT'S MONIES WORTH OF USE.
