Product Description:
Die-cast, professional grill converts easily from a closed contact press to an open BBQ with non-stick plates that are ribbed on one side and flat on the other. The grill is versatile enough to prepare every meal from breakfast to midnight snacks.
The top plate can be adjusted to six preset heights. On the lower settings, this patented feature reduces the weight pressing on more delicate foods. The higher settings are ideal for making open melt sandwiches or heating pizzas.
The 184 square inch professional-grade cooking plates are cast from aliminum. The flat bottom plate makes more contact with the food surface for faster results and is coated with titanium infused Quantanium to resist scratching and wear. The top plate is ribbed to sear meats to perfection. The surfaces are complerely food safe and allow for cooking without oils or butter, and are incredibly easy to clean.
The solid die-cast lock holds the top plate in a secure, upright position when loading and unloading the grill. Return the grill to the closed position, switch the lock to ‘Open Grill,' and the unit conveniently folds out in a BBQ.

About the only thing I can say about this item is that it is larger then I thought
and heavier--also a little expensive, but I guess you pay for the best.
It does a great job so far.

What our Kitchen Experts Say
Ground sirloin is lower in fat and steakier-tasting than chuck, which is why we like to use it for hamburgers. For a more classic burger taste, go with a blend of the two. Cook burgers until a thermometer inserted sideways into the center of the burger reads 145 degrees F for medium rare, 160 degrees F for medium, and 170 degrees F for well done.
