The positives: I like the size of this cutting board, and I like the cutting surface. It feels solid and doesn't seem to dull my knife blades excessively. I like the non-slip feature as well the board really stays put. The gray/graphite color (which is much lighter than it appears in the picture) looks good in my kitchen. Cook's Illustrated rated these Architec Gripper boards very highly.
The negatives: The board arrived slightly warped, and it won't straighten out. It's not warped enough for me to bother returning it, as the performance isn't really affected, but the board will rock a little bit if the corner of it is pressed. The colored surface shows white cut marks from the knife blade. I've only been using the board for a few weeks, and it's already quite marked up. If the marks will bother you, I would suggest purchasing the white version. The underside of the board is tough to dry after hand washing because of the textured surface expect to prop it somewhere and let it air dry.
Despite the negatives, I'm fairly happy with this item. It performs well and was reasonably priced.

In watching a cooking show the chef made a comment about how you should have a cutting board specifically for meat. I thought about it for a while and thought it was a good idea. I was tired of seeing wooden cutting boards fade away and become dry after being subjected to the dishwasher, yet the dishwasher seemed to be the only way to really get it clean after cutting up a chicken or fish.
The board is a good size - it easily handled a roasted chicken. The non slip pads on the bottom mean you don't have to worry about anything except your hands slipping. It's a little heavier than I expected, but I'll gladly exchange the weight for the solidness of the board. It fits into the dishwasher perfectly and dries fast! Over all I'm pretty pleased with it.

Chopping Boards
Would not purchase again

This chopping board ended up being a little too heavy. I find I grab my smaller, thinner acrylic board more often. Also, the gripper features prevents use of both sides. I think I thought the sliding issue was bigger than it is, because my existing boards -- acrylic, wood, and those thin foldable plastic ones -- don't really slide around all that much. I'll get the regular, nongrip, type next time.

What our Kitchen Experts Say
When you need to gather up your chopped ingredients on your cutting board, don't scrape with the edge of your knife; it will dull the blade. Instead, flip the knife over and use the non-sharpened edge to collect, then transfer, your ingredients to the pan.
