Had to search for a covered pot for making potato soup in the microwave-this fit the bill perfectly. It is almost too pretty to cook in- I keep it on the counter when not in use.

I have not used the pot yet, but must say it is too pretty to put in a cupboard so I have it on display on my hutch. Will make a wonderful soup tureen
