The grease channel along the edge collects juices and fat; two pouring lips make disposal easy. Heat-resistant handles ensure safe transport. The unit is dishwasher-safe and immerses in water with the temperature control removed.

Everything seemed perfect about this product--immersible after removing electric cord, weight of the product was light, cleaning easy, storage easy, heating seemed even overall (and hot enough). Only distraction was the turning controls on the electric plug-in--a little bit awkward to get to and a little difficult to turn the temperature control knob. Seems that the ridges should be a little higher on the knob for easier turning. Very satisfied otherwise!

Very pleased with West Bend griddle - and it came so quickly. Was puzzled as it arrived in a HUGE box which seemed a waste of resources.

This grill heats evenly all around the surface. The French toast I made all cooked evenly, all 8 slices at one time.
