Product Description:
The Micom rice cooker works via a computerized technology to produce perfectly cooked white, brown and mixed rice plus porridge. The quick cooking cycle reduces cooking time as much as 10 minutes - perfect for last minute meals! And if your rice is ready before you're ready to serve, there's an automatic Keep Warm cycle that re-heats rice to the perfect serving temperature. Menu includes settings for regular, mixed, sweet, and brown rice plus porridge. The inner cooking pot has a durable nonstick coating so clean up is quick and easy. Features LCD clock and timer. Comes with 12 easy-to-follow recipes. Note: Although you can use this cooker to prepare brown rice, an additional step is involved. You must first soak the brown rice in water before cooking, at least four hours or overnight for best results.

We are extremely happy with the Micom Rice Cooker and Warmer. It gives us perfect rice every time. The price high, but certainly is worth it if you cook alot of rice.

Good cooker
  Would purchase again

From the Cooking.com website I thought the rice cooker I was ordering was a different one, one that used induction heating. Not so. But the fuzzy logic on this cooker works very well. Some adjustments of measurmentsneed to be made to get the individual results sought, but once this is done the machine repeats the results very well. Easy to use, clean and mantain.

I returned this item and purchased a larger size. My complaint is that the description does not explain carefully the amount of COOKED rice that this size
produces.

What our Kitchen Experts Say
Curious about the difference between white and brown rice? They're both seeds from the rice plant, but white rice has been polished to remove the germ part of the grain, while brown rice has not. However, the germ contains a lot of dietary fiber, so brown rice is a healthier choice.
