Product Description:
Coordinate your brushed stainless coffee maker with this grinder. The contemporary square design houses a roomy bowl (90 gram capacity) that lets you grind your beans fresh just before brewing. Measurement markings allow you to efficiently measure and grind the exact quantity of coffee beans you need - for up to 18 cups. The lid allows extra coffee to be stored in the grinding bowl. A built-in safety interlock prevents operation unless lid is securely closed. Stainless steel bowl removes for cleaning.

I am the only person in my family that drinks coffee, so this is perfect for me. It matches all of my appliances and doesn't take up too much space. It works great. I have had other coffe grinders around the same size and price. The others did not compare to the Cuisinart! I think this product is great and I highly reccomend it for the family with only 1 or 2 coffee drinkers!

I bought this to grind up/mix spices, not for coffee. And as such I needed a grinder that had a removable/washable mixing bowl. This product has just that.
It works well and I use it often. Clean up is very easy. Highly recommended.

The Cuisinart Brushed Stainless Grind Central Coffee Grinder is an attractive complement to the Cuisinart Coffee maker which we have and love. The plastic top allows us to refrigerate any extra grounds coffee,The grinder looks great on the counter, but is noisier, and grinds coarser than our discount store plastic grinder.

What our Kitchen Experts Say
When shopping for coffee, look for a few key terms that'll ensure the best possible brew. "Fair trade" means the coffee farmer was paid a fair living wage for his beans. "Organic" means the coffee trees weren't treated with any pesticides. "Shade grown" means the beans didn't come from coffee trees that were genetically modified to grow in the sun. Coffee trees naturally thrive in shady forests, but a lot of coffee these days comes from trees that were modified to grow in the sun, meaning that indigenous forests have been clear-cut to make way for large-production coffee farms.
