Lively and complex: A well-balanced and medium bodied blend of Organic washed Latin American and East African coffees. The coffee has a smooth and elegant acidity with citrus and floral aromatics.

Serena Organic Blend was introduced to the Starbucks lineup in fall of 2002 as part of their Commitment to Origins family of coffees.

Coffee is often grown organically. While in many parts of the world insect pests are often controlled through the use of pesticides, arabica coffee is grown in mountainous areas that are significantly higher in altitude than where pests can thrive, meaning there is less need for chemical control of pests.

I LOVE having Starbucks coffee at home, and with a new little one, its hard to get out and about. Having my favorite coffee beans delivered right to my door makes this a fabulous treat!

P.S. My FAVORITE coffee flavor at home comes from mixing Serena Organic coffee beans and Gold Coast coffee beans together. Delicious!

A truly great product is the Serena Organic coffee. I have a medical condition where I must limit the food additives and processing chemicals I take in with food or drink; the organic coffee helps that necessity and at a reasonable cost compared to organic foods in grocery stores. All with a great taste to boot so I'm very pleased with Starbucks for offering this product.

This was a nice bean that was pretty smooth. However shade grown Mexican is still my fav.
