Product Description:
This is truly the supreme bread machine! The Zojirushi offers advanced options for your bread baking. It gives you the choice of using the dough cycle by itself, then finishing in your regular oven. In addition, you can make dough for crisp pizza crust, light dinner rolls, mouth-watering cinnamon rolls, hamburger or hoagie buns, artisan breads, sourdough, gluten-free breads and cakes - the possibilities are endless. It even makes fruit jam and has the power and durability for hearty whole grain dough. Twin paddles provide superior kneading action so you get well-raised breads with great texture.

To use, simply place your unmixed ingredients in and choose your setting. The machine alerts you once your bread is ready. The control panel is set at the perfect angle for easy viewing, and the bigger-than-ever window lets you see what's happening inside. With this model, you can open the lid during operation, for adding fruits and nuts without resetting the cycle (it keeps running with the lid open). Choose from a full set of pre-programmed cycles for a variety of breads or create your own custom cycles. You can also program in your own favorite recipes for later use. Recipe & instructions booklet included.

After reading a few reviews I decided to break down and order the Zojirushi Bread Machine. I cannot believe how easy it is to use, it really is fool proof. I wondered if I would be as happy with the bread I make in the machine as I am of the bread I make by hand. I am. The white bread (recipe in user manuel) is light and fluffy and very flavorful. I also made honey oat bread and was quite pleased. I like the traditional shaped loaves it makes. If you're in the market for a bread machine, read the reviews on the Zojirushi and I am confident you will order one and be as pleased with your purchase as I.

Zojirushi Breadmaker
  Would purchase again
by Dennis (Conestoga, PA)  3 review(s) 10/27/2009
Bread making can't get any easier than this.To date my wife and I have tried the Basic White and Basic Whole Wheat. This was the first whole wheat bread that I can say I actually enjoyed eating. I pour a little olive oil on a slice and it and it is good to go. This is October and we live in Pennsylvania so I can envision many loaves of bread to accompany the soups and chowders that we enjoy during the colder months.
I would recommend the Zojirushi if asked.

I read a lot of positive and negative reviews of this Breadmaker before the purchase. All I can tell you is that this is the fourth Breadmaker my wife has owned and it has worked perfectly on every loaf she has made to date. It is very simple to use and is very quiet. We are completely satisfied so far.

What our Kitchen Experts Say
If you can't finish a fresh-baked loaf of bread within a day or two, slice with a serrated knife and then freeze in a plastic bag. Then, you can just pull out a slice or two to toast whenever you'd like. Using slices of frozen bread is also a great trick when making sandwiches for brown bag lunches. The frozen bread keeps lettuce crisp, and the bread will be perfectly defrosted by lunchtime. Just be sure to wrap in foil, not plastic, so it won't become soggy.
