Holds a lot but not too wide so it fits in the fridge more easily than my 4-cup Pyrex. Handy for batters, mixing juice, and also measuring more than 1 c. of liquid. Lid fits snugly. The only thing I wish it had was lines marking less than 1 c.

Very heavy and sturdy. The lid makes it very useful for anything from juice to batter. Love all the products from Bormioli Rocco.
