Product Description:
Furi Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip Basics Line 6-Inch Santoku Knife. The Rachael Ray Gusto Grip Basics line is designed by Australian engineers and inspired by the best selling Gusto Grip Knives. Antimicrobial technology is incorporated directly and permanently into the handles during the manufacturing process.

In fewer than five years, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky-girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just in time have sold billions of books and placed her at the top of the talent heap of food television personalities.

Furi knives have long been recognized for their outstanding performance and terrific value. The Gusto Grip collection was developed in conjunction with popular chef Rachael Ray, who loved the professional qualities of Füri, but desired a convenient non-slip grip in her favorite color, orange. The result is a knife that appeals to home chefs and professionals alike. The Gusto Grip handles feature "Furi Guard", antimicrobial inhibitors incorporated directly and permanently into the Gusto Grip handles. This is done during the manufacturing process, giving the handle an added safeguard against microorganisms that can degrade the handle material over time. The high-carbon, stainless blade is highly durable and offers precision cutting and lasting edge retention. For best results, Füri knives should be sharpened regularly, hand washed and dried thoroughly before storing.

Introduced in the U.S. by Matfer, Füri knives originated in Australia, designed by engineer Mark Henry in collaboration with professional chefs. Unique in construction and look, these knives are designed with the professional user in mind, and will be a lasting addition to any home kitchen. Füri knives are also beautiful enough to display on your countertop.

wonderful tool
  Would purchase again
by Charlene (Lufkin, TX)  2 review(s) 9/11/2009
This is a wonderful knife at a great price. The only reason I did not give it a "5" is due to the fact that you are not supposed to put it in the dishwasher. I didn't realize that, although it may have very well been on the website. It feels very good in your hand and cuts very quickly and cleanly with minimum effort. I bought 3 of them thinking I would give one or two of them as gifts.....but, I think I may keep all 3 for myself! Thank you for a wonderful product. I watch Rachel use this knife every day and therefore, trusted the quality. The knife was shipped and delivered promptly. Just can't beat the service or the cost. Thanks for asking for feedback.

Sharp chopping knife
  Would purchase again
by Rhonda (Okmulgee, OK)  5 review(s) 7/8/2009
I bought this item because I needed a good, sharp knife to chop with. When I used it the first time, it was great. Everything I wanted in a knife. Easy to hold on to, balanced and it was sharp. I didn't cut my finger and I didn't have to saw to get things cut up. I've tried many others; but, this was the best. And, it was Rachael Ray. Thank you.
