Replacement part identical to the original that came with my Kitchen Aid mixer. I broke the original making cookies - now I use the paddle attachment for this task and reserve the whip for mashed potatoes, etc.

The Kitchen Aid mixer and the wire wisk attachment are a wonderful product. The mixer is very reliable and versitile. I use mine so much that I have gone through 2 wisk attachments in the 4 years that I have owned the machine.

Stand mixers can definitely be tough to manuever sometimes, so for easy cleanup and transportation, keep your mixer on a tray or cookie sheet. This will make it easier to move around your countertop, and if you make any mess, you can just wash the tray.
