Product Description:

Keep extra Cuisinart Freezer Bowls on hand for making and freezing double batches or several different flavors of your favorite ice cream. Use this bowl with the Cuisinart Automatic Frozen Yogurt-Ice Cream & Sorbet Makers (sold separately).

Features and Benefits:
The double insulated freezer bowl contains a cooling liquid between the bowl walls to create fast and even freezing. In general, the required freezing time of the bowl is 6 to 22 hours before use. Have additional bowls on hand to make double batches or different flavors without interruption. For additional information on preparing the freezer bowl for use, please see below.

Preparing the Freezer Bowl:
The freezer bowl must be completely frozen before you begin your recipe. The length of time needed to reach the frozen state depends on how cold your freezer is – for best results, place the bowl to the rear of your freezer where it is coldest. In general, freezing time is between 6 hours and 22 hours. To determine whether the bowl is completely frozen, shake it. If you do not hear liquid moving, the cooling liquid is frozen. For the most convenience, leave your freezer bowl in the freezer at all times so you can take it out any time for immediate use.

This is not a storage container!!!

You think you are buying a storage container for your ice cream after you make it, but this is just an additional bowl to use in your ice cream maker - you cannot store ice cream in this in a freezer.
