I use this dish to make crisps since I need more room for the fruit. I have not tried a souffle yet. I would recommend this for any one that like to make individual crisps

Great Value Tall Souffle Dish

This heavy tall souffle dish was a great value -- and NOT made in China. Personally, our family is concerned about purchasing china, stoneware and ceramic products from China because of unknown (to us) manufacturing criteria in the basic clay, firing and painting. The Chin products mighe be OK, but we prefer to purchase cookware items made in countries with well established standards for safety in making cookware items.

Versatile

These souffle dishes are a really good value compared to some of the specialty dishes for soups and gratinees. I use these for individual pot pies and onion soup gratinee. They are inexpensive and make a great presentation while serving multiple purposes. They go with everything and clean up like a dream!
