Big enough capacity to make a fair amount of ice tea; strong enough to withstand filling with ice and pouring hot tea into the jug. Also, with the lid you don't have to worry about making a mess when pouring into a glass - the ice doesn't "FALL' into the glass. I have stocked up on this pitcher in case I am not able to find it or one like it again. ALso, having given one for a gift.

I got this for my mom for mothers day. I ordered this and got it the time it was promised on the tracking. The product itself is very nice for special occasions. I love how it does not dilute the drinks but keeps the drink cold. Its great for the patio or just simply dining indoors. The product is very well thought through!

Good All-Around Glass Pitcher

I don't know how much I will actually use the ice insert, but the pitcher itself is well made and the glass is thick. Good sized too. Excellent value for the price.
