KitchenAid is the expert when it comes to mixing, and this hand mixer upholds the family reputation. Strong, but lightweight, it is also quiet during operation. The smooth touch controls are on the handle and the digital display is large and easy to read. An electronic sensor automatically adjusts power for a steady, consistent speed in any mixture, it had no problem mixing stiff chocolate chip cookie dough, and the “Soft Start” feature eliminated spattering. The ergonomically designed handle is comfortable and the heel rest is wide and stable. The beaters release with a touch of the oversized ejection button.

`Love this hand mixer! Got the bonus dough hooks also! Ease of use and portability are great. I LOVE the red color...only wish it could have come in cobalt. Great addition to my stand mixer when I don't need to pull it out.

I have not used this mixer very many times, only having received it recently, but it seems like a fine product. The previous one I owned (from a different manufacturer) was disappointing because the speed button fell off after I had only had it a short time. But that mixer had a whisk attachment included with the regular two beaters. I wish this one included a whisk.

Red Ultra Power Plus 7-speed Hand Mixer

I like the mixer very much. If I had to give one negative, it would be it doesn't have as much power as I expected. I have an old Cuisinart hand mixer that blows this one away in that respect. However, the slow start feature is fabulous. My Cuisinart starts too fast and is prone to making a mess. It's a good looking appliance. The red color is great.
