It does what I hoped it would. Except it takes sometime to learn to use them for they are somewhat large and bulky. For a women with smaller hands I almost need both of them. On the other hand my husband, he uses them fine. It does help to flip food on the grill and keep control.

I used this on a grill made from a 55 gallon drum, it has an uneven grill surface, but it worked well. I had to flip it upside down because it seems to grab better, I was flippng cornish game hens and burgers. It is still long enought to keep my hands away from the heat. I have not used the bottle opener, because I am stationed in Iraq and can not have any beer, let alone any bottled beer. I will try that out when I get home. I like that it is tongs and a spatula all in one.

I love to cook on my grill and have been frustrated with the loss of my favorite turner/tongs. I finally found these and they are great!! Good length, easy to clean, easy to use. Don't care about the bottle opener, but the different areas of the spatula are very useful and allow me to have fewer utensiles to deal with.

What our Kitchen Experts Say
Grilling corn on the cob is a tasty alternative to just boiling it. And if you keep it in its husk while cooking, you'll have perfectly cooked kernels with no risk of charring. Dunking the corn in water before putting it on the grill will make sure that the husk and silks don't burn while the corn steams on the grill. It's done when you begin to see the outline of the kernels showing through the husk.
