I love the look and appearance of the set. Very classy looking. It is quite a bit heavier than my old utensils, but I guess that is a good thing.

This set which I paid $99.99 on cooking.com I found later at a Marshall's for $29.99 so while the item is nice, the price on this website is too high.

I got these to go with the All-Clad cookware set that I also purchased from Cooking.com. They are very good quality and very attractive on the countertop. Good, basic utensil set.

A general rule with supermarket shopping is that the more a piece of meat has been fussed with, the more expensive it will be- that's why boneless, skinless chicken breasts are so much more expensive than if you just bought a whole chicken. Save money and buy a whole chicken, then cut up into individual pieces. Freeze what you won't use immediately, then use to carcass to make homemade chicken stock.
