4-in. - Paring Knife
Product Description:
Our knife experts proclaim, “If we had to go out in the world with one knife, this is the knife we'd choose.” It is short enough and long enough, strong enough and sharp enough, to do almost anything. A balanced beauty, it has a rigid, 3"-long blade that curves gently up to a nice, tapered tip and an extremely smooth handle-to-blade joint, so there's virtually no chance of food or bacteria lodging between them.

Features of SIGMAFORGE® knives are:

  • New one piece construction
  • High forging precision
  • Higher stability of blade
  • Perfect geometry
  • Improved steel structure for less metal fatigue
  • Improved cutting-edge retention and lasting sharpness
  • Improved weight and balance
  • FRIODUR® ice hardened for maximum no-stain properties and more blade strength

The sharpness of this knife straight out the box was incredible. The handle feels just right, not too thick, not too thin. I recommend this knife to anyone looking for an extremely high quality knife. Holds an edge forever.

    What our Kitchen Experts Say
Paring #2: Making a cherry pie but forgot to pick up a cherry pitter? Don't fret, a sharp paring knife will easily get the job done. Just slice the cherry in half lengthwise, gently twist the two sides apart, and pop out the pit.
