A bit odd looking, but it really does the trick sharpening the Furi Santoku knives. Also works on similar knives. Not as effective on short blade knives such as paring knives, but it still does an acceptable job putting an edge on the blade. Only concern is how durable the diamond coating is. Time will tell.

I have used it a couple of times already, I don't know how good I am at sharpening. I will keep trying because I love my knives so much and want to keep them sharp.

the directions on the box are a little ambiguous, but once you figure out the "unfolding" process, its great. Product is very easy to use and brought furi knives back to new performance.

It sharpens our knives and it is easily stored in a small area, which is important as we live onboard a sailboat.

This is a great little sharpner. It will not make a very dull knife sharp but is great at maintaining a good knife. I recommend bringing all of your knifes at least every few months to a proffessional sharpener. If you do so and use a tool like this you will always have sharp and safe blades. (more people are cut with dull blades than sharp ones)

I hadn't realized just how dull my knives had become until I used this sharpener. I was very impressed with the difference and bought one for my sister immediately. I will be going home for Christmas where I will do most of the cooking - I plan to take my sharpener with me to make the job easier! Greaat price, good product, have recommended it to my friends.

No knife sharpener design does it all, but this one is a good choice for most kitchen cutlery. It's not so good for very short or delicate blades, or knives that are very dull. Once you get a good edge on a knife, however, this product will restore a razor edge quickly and simply without removing excessive metal in the process.

Best sharpner on the maket I ever found. So simple to use. Puts a sharp edge on the knife like you would not believe. Recommend this item to anyone who is need of a sharp knife and does not now how to sharpen one with a stone.

Good price good sharpener

One of our church members brought it to the church basement and sharpened our knives. The knives were very, very sharp which is why I ordered one for myself and the other for my son. It's very easy to use and I like how compact it is.

Excellent knife sharpener very quick and leaves the knife very sharp.

I have only used this product a very few times...SO FAR! It did a super job the first time I used it, so even though I figured the blade was too short to utilize the sharpener correctly, I tried it on a tiny little Swiss Army style pocket knife I have, and it put a near razor edge on that one, too! I'm impressed!

I purchased this sharpener primarily to sharpen the Furi 827 knife, but it works great on all my knives. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to open it, but it really is quick, easy & to the point!

This knife sharpener was highly recommended by a friend of mine when my husband and I were looking for one. It is very easy to use and I hadn't realized just how dull our knives had gotten. It works great!

The simple easy to use ans very safe sharpner is a joy to have in the kitchen.
Was very satisified with how easy it was to sharpen "Good" knives". Some are not worth the effort as the steel from China is poor quality.
Buy quality knives they will last a life time along with this sharpner.

I'm a disabled woman with only partial use of both hands I found this sharpener way easier to use than the usual steel or block sharpener A very good deal for the price and hones a knife very well

Neat thing about this thing is that it's mobile. Wraps up like a laptop and goes with you. But, of course, never needs re-charging. Great if you're a grill or barbecue master because of its [safe] mobility.

The sharpener is very compact when folded up and easy to store. It opens very easily and is very sturdy and easy to use.
