registered about 10 degrees higher than the OXO thermometer
My experience has shown that Taylor makes very good kitchen thermometers.
PRO: The numbers are large and easy to read at a glance. Because it hangs, it takes up very little amount of oven space.
Can't think of any cons.
Markings are clean, large enough to read easily. Only downside is that it's too tall to hang between racks. But its accuracy and colored dial make it an instant read so it's not a major problem setting it on a rack rather than hanging it. AND the pricemakes it a value!
I got this oven thermometer to check the accuracy of my oven's thermostat. For that purpose, it worked just fine. It might get in the way if I left it in the oven while I was trying to cook something.
This oven thermometer needs to design a better hook to attach to the oven rack. It does not secure and falls off easily.

Actual oven temperatures can often vary wildly from what the dial says. Use an oven thermometer and make sure your 350 degree setting is really 350 degrees.
