Does the job

This is my first crock pot, and I love it. The digital pad allows you to be flexible about how you want to cook the meal. The crock itself is a black ceramic piece that is attractive to bring to the table. It's lightweight so you can move it around easily and store it. Haven't used the probe yet so can't comment on that, except to say that if the probe isn't in place when you're cooking then you may get a little of the cooking juice splashed out as your food simmers. I burned a little of the meal one time, but the crock cleaned up just fine. Good deal.

I just love my slow cooker, I am using it at least 2 times a week and love the fact
that it keeps warm after cooking.

The probe's "ok" but for "fall off the bone tenderness" cook 6-8 hours on "slow". It's well worth the wait!

wish it came with a few recipes but so far I like it. It is large enough to feed a big family and the programmable timer is great.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Slow cookers work best with tougher cuts or meat with more fat. These cuts will stay juicy and become tender from the long, slow cooking time. If you want a roast, try a cut from the shoulder or leg. You could also try pork stew meat cut from the shoulder or leg, spare ribs or country style ribs.
