Ideal for everyday use, Ouverture glasses offer perfectly shaped wine glasses at competitive prices.
Seen in all the best restaurants, this wine glass has become a classic for both commercial and home use, which says a lot for its elegance, durability and affordability. Nice thin rim, good size for both red and white. I selected it because it matches well in size and style with the glass in my pattern that I use for wine: Baccarat Haut Brion (Water Goblet - Tall), which is now only occasionally available at over $100/ea through discontinued crystal outlets. The Baccarat has a slightly wider diameter base and opening, otherwise, a pretty close match.
Reidel makes lovely glasses and it pays attention to their shape and how they feel in your hand
Riedel glasses are always great and these are no exception. Have many varieties and love them all.<br>
We received the white wine and champagne glasses as a gift and wanted to complete the set. I was pleased to find them at Cooking.com for a great price and equally pleased to see them arrive so quickly. Riedel is an excellent wine glass and we love them all!
Perfect, Perfect.

Have you seen the wine category "Super Tuscan" on a wine list and wondered what really makes it 'super'? The term Super Tuscan simply means that the wine has been made from a combination of grapes that's not included in the Italian government's traditional blending laws, and therefore is ineligible to be given an official appellation label. However, despite their seemingly outlaw status, they're usually wonderful wines, so give one a try next time you see them on the wine list.
