A new kitchen favorite!

We've had a spatter screen for a while. Our last one was a fine metal mesh which soaked up spattering oils to the point of becoming impossible to adequately clean. It smoked on high heats and began to warp. Not such a great item.

We LOVE the easy dishwasher-ability of this screen and have not had a problem with condensation. (Besides, this is an easy problem to remedy if you do - nudge a bowl very close to your pain, and when you lift the screen, tilt it so any accumulated water drains into the bowl and not your frying pan nor your stove. Works well for lids of any sort, too.) No warping, easy to clean, easy to store, and looks good. We're very happy.

Sturdy and easy to clean

My old splatter screen had some holes in it as well as some separation from the frame, so I was looking for a replacement. The silicone screen was more expensive than the metal screens, but I decided to buy it anyway, hoping it would wear better than my old screen.

I was so impressed the first time I used it. The screen was sturdy, prevented splatter on my stove, and was SO much easier to clean. Defniitely a keeper.

I was using mesh screens before I bought this one. What a difference and clean-up is a breeze. Would definitely buy again!

This splatter screen is great. I intentionally put my hand over the screen and did not feel any grease splattering. Cleanup is easy.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

When you're cooking up bacon, save the excess grease for another occasion. Carefully pour into a clean glass jar, let cool, and store in the fridge; use it next time you cook eggs for an ultra-decadent and delicious breakfast.
