Why fumble for an appliance when you can use this handy Orange Squeezer in seconds? So easy to use, simply cut the orange in half, insert and squeeze. Fruit gets turned inside out to extract all the juice without seeds or pulp. And there's nothing like fresh orange juice! Great for baking and cooking and it cleans easily – just pop it in the dishwasher. Coated metal construction means it won't rust or react with juices. Saves on electricity and cupboard space.
After a thorough search of our local stores and chains, I could not find anything but a lemon or lime squeezer. We remember seeing Melissa D'Arabian using one on $10 Dinners, so maybe we could find one on the Food Network site itself...and there it was!! And it is really sturdy...thought it might be plastic-ish, but it looks great. Large enough to hold a decent sized orange. Quick delivery and good value.
I have used the juicer several times and the citrus has eroded the inside of the product. I am surprised this has happened for the amount that was charged.
This makes squeezing oranges fast, however, the cup size is a little small. It will take small oranges, but if you can only get larger oranges, you have to cut into fourths, but it still is easier on the wrist and goes much faster than the old style juicer that you twist the orange. All in all, I do like it and bought one for my daughter.
My husband says it exactly what he was looking for.
I feel I should be able to squeeze all of the juice out of my Citrus with this tool, and it doesn't. It needs to be a wider bowl going into the squeezing bowl. Then it would get more juice out.

The zest of any citrus fruit is the brightly-colored outside of the peel. Use a peeler to remove strips of zest, but make sure not to cut too deep. You want to leave off the white part, called the pith; it's bitter.
