I haven't tasted wine from these glasses yet but I think they will make a lovely addition to our table setting and I can envision using them in both casual and formal settings. It's a nice change!

I love all my other Riedel glasses but these I have to toss. They are extremely difficult to grasp which has made for an aweful lot of "accidents." If this particular glass must be this wide it really needs the stem. It will definitely save a headache or two.

nice glasses to drink from. very thin, which I like but I still have not put them in the dishwasher(I'm afraid they will break).

These are great wine glasses. No worrying about chipping the bottom of a stem (mine are always chipped up), and so stable that it'd be hard to spill it. Comfy in your hand and the generous surface area allows for the wine to breathe and releases the fragrance.
