I bought this because thinking that calaphon was such a great product, I figured this would be to. They seem flimsy to me right at the handle connects to the head. They are nice looking and longer than most of my utensils, which is great for when my daughters help me cook, they are not getting their hands to close to the hot surface. I dont know if I would buy them again, but I will say that I will use them.

Not sure these were designed to be used by a woman. I have large hands but I found the product to be too big and too heavy and cumbersome to easily use. The craftsmanship and price are good. I would have preferred something lighter and more agile.

these are pretty handy...though a little large for the 10 inch skillet, but better than being too small.

I have a few CALPHALON pans, and ordered the CALPHALON utensils to go with my on future purchases. I love the pans and the utensils they are all easy to clean with a soft sponge and clean up very well. Glad I purchased.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

A general rule with supermarket shopping is that the more a piece of meat has been fussed with, the more expensive it will be- that's why boneless, skinless chicken breasts are so much more expensive than if you just bought a whole chicken. Save money and buy a whole chicken, then cut up into individual pieces. Freeze what you won't use immediately, then use to carcass to make homemade chicken stock.
