This is the good old fashioned waffle iron I could not find in stores. I wanted a dinner plate sized waffle iron, round, wrapped in stainless steel instead of plastic. Works great!

Not Perfect, But Good

Makes good waffles quickly. Only 2 problems with design/manufacturing. 1. The overflow channel is too narrow and does not deflect overflow from the browning control. 2. The browning control has too much play in it, about 1 1/2 positions of looseness.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Waffles don't have to just be about breakfast. Experiment with different flavors, sauces and toppings to breathe new life into this brunch standby. How about making a savory waffle to replace sliced bread in a sandwich? Or you can also try making an elegant dessert waffle, topped with chocolate sauce and ice cream. The possibilities really are endless.
