After having to throw out my original electric skillet I got over 20 years ago, I have gone through two other lesser priced, poorer quality skillets in two years. This one is well worth the money. Even heat, quick to heat up and easy, easy clean up. Wish I had bought this one two years ago.

My old teflon skillet from the 1960's finally bit the
dust. I searched, and read all the pro and con
comments on all the sites before I decided to purchase from Cooking.com. The skillet was
heavy, with rubber shod feet and didn't slide when
preparing food, it heated evenly over the whole
surface, it was easy to plug in and set temperature
and very easy to wash (dishwasher). It was big..
and just perfect for what I was looking for. Yes
I would buy it again and recommend to others.

The skillet's size makes it an ideal cooking surface. The lid, with its air hole, allows steam to release without water/steam oozing between the lid and skillet during a longer cooking process. It's appearance makes it appropriate for serving at the table.

I have used it a few times since I purchased it and really like it. It cooks evenly all over and is so easy to clean. It's nice and sturdy so it doesn't slide around when you're turning food or pushing it around. Excellent product.

I have used this only once so far (on Christmas day) and it was wonderful - easy to clean both inside and outside due to the brushed stainless steel finish. It has the added bonus of heating up quickly and then you can keep in on the "warm" setting for when you are ready to serve. The oval shape is also a bonus for cooking fish fillets which don't fit in a round pan too well.

My husband and I both enjoy cooking and have enjoyed this product immensely. It is shaped to where we can cook a lot at once which saves us time, where we found other electric skillets to be too small and had to cook many batches. Clean up is very easy and I must say my hubby is quite the Type "A" personality and likes his kitchen extremely clean and especially the appliances. We also like the way the lid fit so tight and snug. Overall, it is a perfect product and especially for the money.

This order was for a Christmas gift because I loved the one I got for my birthday in November so much. It cleans up very easily, cooks evenly and has quiet rubber feet. It is the best!

I have owned probably 3-4 skillets before this one that cost less, but didn't last very long. This skillet is well worth the money - it cooks evenly, cleans up easily, and looks good too.

I'm very impressed with it!

It's extremely versatile. I wanted something I could use for pancakes as well as skillet lasagna. This is it!

The heat distribution--terrible on other griddles and skillets I've used--isn't bad at all, and the glass cover and stainless steel construction adds to the quality.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Making French onion soup? Try browning onions in an electric skillet. It's the easiest possible way to do it - you couldn't burn them, even if you tried.
