GREAT KITCHEN ELECTRIC WITH A SMALL FOOTPRINT

This item is a great chopper/grinder and takes up very little space on the counter top. It's powerful for such a small machine, works great and is easy to clean. It is a fabulous value for the price.

cuisinart mini-prep-plus processor

I have used a large Cuisinart Processor for years and wished for a small stand alone one. This is perfect size for me (3 cups). Will use it for mixing dressings, fresh salsa, chopped nuts, and just about anything that my imagination can create. Wonderful tool.

So far, I've only used this twice, but has performed well. Took a little practice to not turn the onions, peppers, carrots into mush.

Once I got the hang of the pulse chop feature, worked like a charm.

I now don't have to drag out the big food processor for small jobs that are too large for hand chopping and too small for large processor.

Perfect Little Food Processor
by June, CA
March 2, 2012

This is my first food processor. I didn't want one that was huge, but one that was big enough to make some pesto and other yummy sauces. This looks nice sitting on the counter, but is also small enough to put in a cabinet if need be. I think it's a well made product, and has already served me well for several meals!

A MUST HAVE FOR ALL COOKS
by DIANE, NY
March 1, 2012

Was using a mini-chopper that gave me more work than results. This is a great little, efficient, handy, tool. Small enough to leave on the counter. Would recommend it to all cooks.

I did a little research on the internet and finally decided on this mini chopper. I am glad I purchased it as it is everything it claims to be. It is quick and handy and small enough that I can keep it out every day to use. I think the plastic container could have been a little sturdier so I am careful to take it apart to clean it, but all in all it is 100% what I wanted and am sure I will get many years life out of it.

My daughter and grandson wanted to take this little gem home with them since it was much better than the "old" one which my daughter has. A great addition to my kitchen.

Cannot handle amounts of any size
by Marie, KS
January 8, 2010

THis size requires emptying frequently, making the task of chopping take longer than I was hoping. I have never had a food processor, so this small size will take getting used to.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Use a mini food processor for small batches of food like pesto, or simply for everday use when you don't want to haul out the big food processor. They're also great for chopping nuts for baking bread or cookies- just be sure not to pulse for too long, or you'll end up with nut butter!
