This is a very basic tool, with no bells and whistles. However it gets the job done.

Perfect Little Food Processor
by June, CA
March 2, 2012

This is my first food processor. I didn't want one that was huge, but one that was big enough to make some pesto and other yummy sauces. This looks nice sitting on the counter, but is also small enough to put in a cabinet if need be. I think it's a well made product, and has already served me well for several meals!

As a owner of the original Cuisinart Food Processor, I love all their products. However I think the lid is a little difficult to lock in place. The processing procedure is great for your everyday small quantities.

Very powerful!

Great little product. I chopped some onions and bell peppers for chili. You have to be careful to only press the button once or twice or you'll end up with more of a paste than chopped veggies.

Sometimes a little hard to just chop because it tends to almost grate things, but still does a great job. Dishwasher safe and easy clean-up

Having the two options (chop or grind) is great. The last chopper I purchased was only $19.99 (that was 10 years ago). This on is a little bigger and it does have the two options, so I guess it is worth the extra money, especially if it lasts as long as my first one. Easy to clean and use.

My daughter and grandson wanted to take this little gem home with them since it was much better than the "old" one which my daughter has. A great addition to my kitchen.

I did a little research on the internet and finally decided on this mini chopper. I am glad I purchased it as it is everything it claims to be. It is quick and handy and small enough that I can keep it out every day to use. I think the plastic container could have been a little sturdier so I am careful to take it apart to clean it, but all in all it is 100% what I wanted and am sure I will get many years life out of it.

Mini-Prep Of the Future
by Betty, WA
December 12, 2006

Just about the same size as the old mini-preps of years past. However, with the blades being offset, rather than opposing, this machine does a much better job of chopping. Onions and celery are chopped, rather than liquified.
Great for tuna salad.

This was a gift for my niece. She is a fabulous cook and she chose this for a Christmas gift. She's very selective when it comes to things for her kitchen.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Use a mini food processor for small batches of food like pesto, or simply for everday use when you don't want to haul out the big food processor. They're also great for chopping nuts for baking bread or cookies- just be sure not to pulse for too long, or you'll end up with nut butter!
