Popper does not perform as promised. It pops about half the corn you put in and to get it to pop that much it burns 50% of that.

I purchased this as a primary popcorn popper so far I've used it 4 times . I know it's simple . Just not working for my family and I .I'm going to try it again tonight . I followed the direction and no success . Just way to many kernels unpoped . I'm not Sure if price even matters at this point... I understand every product is not for every family.I won't recommend it , I also won't bad mouth the product . The delivery service was excellent...

Nordic Ware = Garbage!!!

The result, after using this popper, was the combination of burned popped kernels and a huge number of un-popped kernels left on the bottom. I threw the popper out. Not even worth saving to palm off at a yard sale. I didn't return it to Cooking.com because the Shipping cost wouldn't have made it worth the bother. This is the second and FINAL purchase I'm making with you.

We cannot use this product. Tried it several times with different brands of corn (Jolly Time and Orville Redenbacker) Tried with and without oil. Every time the corn burned so badly that we couldn't use it. Followed directions to the letter, removing the bowl when one or two seconds between pops. There were a lot of "old maids" even so.

Terrible popping corn. Bowl became too hot. Threw the popper away.

Cooking Tip From the Food Network Kitchens

Struggling with a rock-solid pint of ice cream? Pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds and it'll be the perfect scooping consistency. But resist the temptation to microwave it for longer- you'll just end up with, well, cream!
