Nordic Ware's Bacon/Meat Grill is a healthy alternative to grilling on top of the stove. Instead of allowing your bacon or sausage to sit in grease as they cook, this grill has a raised cooking area so fats and oils drain away from the meats as they cook. A pouring lip allows you to easily drain away the excess fat. The grill has a round shape that rotates in the microwave, and a reversible, flat side that can be used for baking or defrosting other foods.

Could not find this in stores. Best price compared to the cheap ones you could find.
I bought this item because our dinnerware is not particularly microwave safe-- it was getting pretty hot in there, which was bad for the plates and meant it took longer to cook things. With this bacon plate, the cooking time was cut from about 2 minutes per strip of bacon to 45 seconds! Bacon comes out nice and crispy, all the fat is trapped in the pan, and clean up is a snap.
should have been priced at a lesser cost
I just what I wanted, thank you.l
I have had a microwave bacon grill for about 12 years or more and it finally got broken. I was in a panic because we simply do not like fried bacon. Saw this, knew I was saved, used it and it was all I needed and wanted.

Struggling with a rock-solid pint of ice cream? Pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds and it'll be the perfect scooping consistency. But resist the temptation to microwave it for longer- you'll just end up with, well, cream!
