i like it yery much!!!!
I loved the background of the recipies that were included in the book, thought it made the dish even more interesting. I also liked the alternate substitutions if you can't find the exact ingredient the recipe calls for.
Enjoy the program and the cookbook is wonderful. Easy explained recipe with ingredients I can find in the middle of USA small town. A winner. JJ
Mexican Made Easy is just that..easy for beginners and easy for the chef
One of the primary reasons I purchased this book was for a good recipe for Machaca. Not there!
Mexican Made Easy has very attractive photos of the prepared foods and interesting family background of the recipes. The recipes are easy to prepare with ingredients that most grocery stores sell. More exotic ingredients have suggested substitutions. I don't use as much peppers as called for as I prefer less heat; it's easy to reduce amounts to background notes. I bought one copy for myself, and one for a Christmas gift. I'm glad I did!
Very good book, can't wait to try it.
I have recently purchased this cookbook and it has many very interesting recipes. I was hoping though that it offered more "taco" recipes as I get the urge every now and again for something so simple, yet that can be made in many ways. I wanted to know more ways than I already know, but am satisfied with what I have. I will start using this at once.
Disappointed, it did not fulfill my expectations
I' m very please with this book, I really enjoy her show, and have try a few of them, howver I was looking for two of her recipe that were not in ths book, is this the only book she has out.

i wanted more from this book
There are a few recipes that have just a few ingredients. Others I will only try on weekend when I have more time.
One of the books had the binding put on incorrectly.....on the front end, there was no orange sheet before the title and the title page was glued incorrectly....kind of hard to give it as a gift. Where is the quality control? I kept the damaged book and gave the other one as a gift.
It took at least 3 weeks to receive this product. It stated at the time of deliver that the product was available and would be shipped within 5 business days. Obviously this didn't happen.
Was expecting more common Mexican food rather than "specialized". But it was still interesting reading...
The service was excellent - received on time and in good condition. Was disappointed with contents. Seemed to be repeating recipes with a couple of different ingredients. Nothing like her show which I enjoy very much.
